Bhaskar concluded by suggesting that enterprises can mitigate these challenges by navigating a path forward by adopting Unified Data-Driven technologies and harnessing the power of AI/ML.
Subsequently, our distinguished Guest Speaker and renowned analyst Jayanth N Kolla from Convergence Catalyst embarked on an enlightening discussion. He delved into the realities of the Zettabyte era, shedding light on the challenges accompanying the exponential growth of data. Notably, Jayanth highlighted that nearly 90% of the world’s data was generated within the past two years alone, emphasizing the magnitude of this data explosion. He proceeded to emphasize the numerous advantages that arise from integrating Generative AI technologies within enterprise IT Operations. These benefits include Conversational AI, automated manual task automation, and the reduction of Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR). Moreover, Jayant provided participants with a comprehensive overview of Observability, highlighting over 15 advantages organizations can reap by implementing such practices. Lastly, he explained how AIOps have revolutionized IT Operations, examining the specific benefits and key evaluation criteria that organizations should carefully consider before adopting this transformative technology.
Further on, our esteemed moderator Ranendra Datta presented findings from a global perception survey on AI, revealing that 57% of participants anticipate job changes, and 36% believe AI could replace their positions. He also mentioned addressing challenges like data silos and tool sprawl, emphasizing the role of CloudFabrix in enabling advancements in decision-making processes.

During the discussion, the esteemed attendees thoroughly examined the challenges governments encounter when collecting and expanding Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data. The focus was on the importance of implementing effective mechanisms to control and contain data within designated containers while adhering to the distinct requirements of each government entity. Furthermore, the participants expressed a shared recognition of the potential offered by GenAI in effectively managing and safeguarding proprietary data.
The forum also delved into the future prospects of AIOps and its potential to address pressing challenges enterprises face. The consensus among the attendees was that GenAI is poised for long-term relevance and holds promise in enhancing job roles and fortifying data security. They emphasized the need for a discerning approach, prioritizing use cases based on their relevance and maturity before pursuing wider adoption.
Throughout the discussion, the participants underscored the indispensable role of human involvement alongside GenAI, as machines alone cannot fulfill all responsibilities. Additionally, the imperative of proactively addressing and resolving errors while leveraging the capabilities of GenAI was a recurring theme. The round table engendered valuable insights into the challenges at hand, potential solutions, and the evolving landscape of AI in enterprise IT.
